Yes. All new clients begin with a free brief 15-20-minute consultation. This allows us to clarify your needs and determine whether moving forward makes sense. It also gives you a chance to ask questions before committing to a full session.
You can schedule a consult through the “Services” and “About” pages by clicking on the brown buttons labeled ‘Book.’

The first session is mainly about getting oriented.
You can expect:
A quick but clear review of informed consent and logistics
Space to talk more about what’s bringing you in
Questions that help me understand patterns, stress, history, and context
Initial goal-setting, even if those goals feel fuzzy
A gentle pace. We are not excavating your worst trauma on day one
If you’re interested in EMDR or parts work, we can talk about what that might look like. Early sessions are focused on understanding what’s happening and building enough stability before doing deeper processing.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed sessions (no-shows), or arrivals 15 minutes or more late may be charged the full session fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you may reschedule to an available appointment later that same week without being charged twice.
If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, the original appointment time is forfeited and the session will not take place. If there is an open appointment available later that same week, you may reschedule for that time.
Each client is offered one no-questions-asked late cancellation or missed session per calendar year, which will be waived automatically.
In the event of an emergency, fees may be waived at my discretion.
To cancel or reschedule, please use the client portal, or contact me by text or phone.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your healthcare will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You can ask me for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or during your free 20 - minute consult call.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
