EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, or EMDR, is an evidence-based therapy that uses gentle eye movements and other forms of bilateral stimulation (BLS) to help the brain process traumatic experiences so they’re less intense.

EMDR does not require you to relive or describe every detail from the trauma, and sessions are paced based on your needs.

EMDR Intensives (90, 120, 150, or 180 minutes) are available when clinically appropriate and mutually agreed upon.

Walk & Talks

  • In-Person— Frisco, TX

Walk & Talk therapy, a form of ecotherapy, offers an alternative way to do therapy while connecting to nature. Many clients find it easier to talk while walking, especially when eye contact feels too intense, if sitting still is painful, and/or if it makes it harder to focus.

This can be a good format if you simply want a different way to engage in therapy.

Sessions are conducted on a quiet trail.

  • understanding patterns

  • working with meaning & values

  • parts work

  • reflecting on progress and adjusting goals over time
